How We Work
We are a members’ organization. By joining together, we achieve strength in numbers, wield greater influence and effect change.
We conduct research into data harms. In this research, sometimes we conduct studies or polls ourselves, sometimes we commission academics, and often we collaborate with other data protection organizations.
We inform and educate our members. We will provide useful advice so that our members can understand how to behave safely online. We will inform members about specific harms so that they are aware and can protect themselves.
We will take action to stop abusive activities online. We will lobby governments and companies to seek change. We will take legal action to force change. And we will seek redress for our consumers through collective action.
